On Thinning Ice is the story of the first dedicated curling team in the U.S. formed exclusively by players who have been either the recipient or the donor in an organ transplant. The film chronicles the challenges team members face on and off the ice as they get ready to attend the 2024 Transplant Games in Bormio, Italy.
